EN BURGOS:

Visiting Burgos from the Apartments is extremely easy and can be done without a car because we are in the very center of the city and everything is one step away.
The visit to the Cathedral of Burgos, a UNESCO heritage site is mandatory, not only because its beauty has made it one of the best exponents of the Gothic period, but also because it houses jewels by sculptors such as Juan de Mena, from the Colonia family, Vallejo, etc. that are reflected throughout its interior.

But apart from the Cathedral, Burgos offers visitors other remarkable places of interest:

• Plaza de San Juan and Casa del Cordón, one of the few civil Gothic buildings that are preserved.
• The Museum of Human Evolution.
• A walk along the Espolón, get closer to see the Arlanzón run under the San Pablo Bridge and cross the Arco de Santa María.
• San Nicolás de Bari, of Romanesque origin but later rebuilt, has a magnificent altarpiece inside.
• San Esteban of the s. XIII and San Gil Abad, the latter embedded in the old walls, sober but beautiful.
• The Island of Burgos: a beautiful and quiet garden of romantic style through which to walk to the “cubes”, the old towers of the wall.
• The castle offers a nice walk and better views.

GASTRONOMY:

While lamb and  “morcilla” (black pudding) are delicious, there is much more to taste on our tables. We recommend that you take a stroll through one of these streets:
